Job description

LHH is supporting a tenured client who is looking for a Global Sourcing Specialist for their company in Tualatin. This person will be supporting evaluating suppliers, negotiating on materials, and creating sourcing strategies to optimally support their customers. Job Details :

Benchmarking, leading RFQs and supplier evaluations - material pricing guidance
Develop and implement global sourcing strategies that achieve cost, quality, supplier diversification, and sustainability goals
Working on complex packaging such as clean room work, dust particulate free packaging, metal assemblies, and use of recyclable materials used.

Requirements :

Ideally 8-10 years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably focused in crating or packaging industry

At LEAST 5 years of experience in sourcing on a Global level in packaging is highly preferred

Bilingual in Mandarin is HIGHLY sought after but not required

Able to work 100% on site and travel around 25-30% to either OR or CA
