POSITION
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in our Boston, MA office. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality control, and cost reduction. This role serves as a critical bridge between product design and factory floor execution, ensuring smooth production operations and compliance with regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing Process Optimization
- Ensure production processes are efficient, safe, and meet quality standards.
- Continuously improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Implement and oversee process changes for new product rollouts.
Quality, Safety & Efficiency
Conduct inspections, testing, and necessary repairs of finished goods and sub-assemblies.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.Act as the project manager of the Quality Control process, continuously creating efficiencies and owning quality metrics.Identify and address manufacturing issues in real-time.Effectively communicate issues and propose solutions to managers and engineers.Repair Process Management
Own the repair process from unit reception to shipment.Properly document issues and resolutions for tracking and analysis.Ensure completed repairs are documented and prepared for timely return shipping to customers.Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to work on-site in our Boston office 5 days per week.Skilled in using hand tools.Proven ability to build, test, and troubleshoot products.Minimum 3 years of experience.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Top applicants will demonstrate :
