CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP INTERN
Compensation : Unpaid / College Credit
Hours : Approximately 20 hours per week
Location : Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Facility and Lynn Family Stadium
Responsibilities :
- Assist with match day activations for sponsors and fan engagement.
- Responsible for specific promotional nights from planning to execution on game day
- Assist in gathering proof of performance through photos and videos during game days
- Generate ideas for smooth operation and execution for all staff members during game day
- Provide quality customer service at point of entry to all fans on match days.
- Cultivate dynamic working relationships with current and new clientele.
- Gather, plan, and execute contractual elements for each corporate partner.
- Conduct market research on current and prospective sponsorships.
- Brainstorm and create new sponsorship packages.
- Assist with the creation of exposure proposals for local organizations.
- Tracks & analyzes sponsorship performance including online exposure, events, and match day sponsorship elements for corporate partners.
- Take lead on community engagement initiatives for Louisville City and Racing Louisville events.
- Maintain detailed database of contacts and inventory
- Lead market research initiatives to enhance partnership and fan development
- Contribute creative promotions to further develop fan base
- Build a network of sponsorship leads
- Represent the club at assigned community events
- Support Corporate Partnerships team with other duties and hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications :
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in Sport Management, Sports Administration, Business, or related fieldAble to work flexible hours including game days and nights as needed.Excellent organizational and communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong time-management skills and strong multi-tasking abilities within a fast-paced environmentsStrong natural selling skills with proven experience in pitch and strategic positioning.Strong attention to detailSelf-motivating and eager to succeedDemonstrates leadership and innovationExperience or knowledge of soccer is preferredAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time.Successful completion of a background check.Soccer Holdings, LLC., is the parent company of professional Football clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL). Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. LouCity launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018. Racing Louisville FC joined the NWSL as an expansion member in 2021. The organization is rounded out by a comprehensive youth academy with a goal to develop players one day poised to join the professional ranks.
