Job descriptiondegree in Civil Engineering 5+ years of roadway / infrastructure design experience using IDOT standards PE License Experience completing IDOT Phase I Reports and IDOT Phase II bid documents MicroStation / Geopak capabilities preferred with an understanding of IDOT workflow May require occasional travel to job sites, client meetingsand evening functions
Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to their Chicago team!
Responsibilities :
- Supervise / oversee transportation projects
- Lead a variety of projects / studies (roadway, undergroundutility, drainage, traffic and infrastructure improvements)
- Build / maintain municipal client relationships
- Assist with developing new transportation project businessincluding proposal / contract preparation, project staffing and project interviews
- Manage local / Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients(local agencies, DOT and / or Counties)
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Assist with staffing / hiring needs
- Develop design / quality controlstandards
Requirements :
Salary iscommensurate with experience.
