Job description

The Cook prepares meals which meet the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) nutritional guidelines.

KVC's Residential Treatment Program offers therapeutic services in a 24 / 7 supervised facility for children and teenagers with acute emotional and behavioral problems.

Education Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Licensure / Certification :

  • ServSafe
  • Qualifications :

  • Ability to read and understand recipes and prep sheets
  • Preferred Experience / Skills :

  • One year kitchen experience
  • Major Duties :

  • Prepare food according to recipes and ServSafe guidelines.
  • Clean dishes, kitchen work area, and dining area.
  • Assist with event setup and serving food as needed.
