Job descriptionAssisting patients and family members with billing and account questions Work to resolve issues with insurance companies and internal departments. Arrange payments with patients on outstanding accounts. Ensure patient balances are resolved promptly. Provide patients with fee quotes and assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits. We are looking for an experienced Patient Account Representative who has experience with billing or collections in a physician clinic or hospital environment. You will be contacting patients to arrange payment of the outstanding accounts. The right person handles all interactions in a courteous, professional, and confidential manner.

For this position, you need :
- Two or more years of experience with billing and collections
- Knowledge of medical billing and collection policies and procedures, ICD, and CPT coding.
- Computer experience and software knowledge required.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory government provisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
