Job Title : Sr Financial Analyst

Job Description

• Prepare / review budget vs actual comparisons for responsible business unit(s) based on professional accounting standards to ensure accurate financial information and to advise management on future activity and impact on profitability and financial objectives. Ensure consistent application of accounting and finance principles across all assigned areas.
• Prepare / Review month end close activities including analysis of complex financial information in order to create / review journal entries which impact the financial condition of AHM. Communicate with leadership key drivers of financial performance and provide forward looking guidance on financial trends. Oversee this activity for multiple areas to ensure consistency.
• Use analytical skills and professional accounting knowledge and years of experience to oversee the creation of 6 budget events per year. To review the information provided by others to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Use financial information to create presentations to advise executive management of budget to actual condition and make recommendations for actionable strategies to improve performance.
• Ad-hoc projects including auto product forecasting simulation support, process improvement, etc.

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Torrance, California and some days remote.

Report to the Finance Manager. Work alongside 5 other Seniors. Open concept office with snacks / drinks.
