Training Manager

We are looking for an Information Security Administrator to assist with the managing, monitoring, and implementing of IT security systems to protect the organization's computer networks from cyber-attacks and other threats and to ensure proper operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Working with others in IT, develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
• Review monthly vulnerability scans and assess vulnerabilities and priorities working closely with our 3rd party SOC vendor and our internal security team.
• Assist with the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintaining of the security infrastructure software and hardware.
• 1st level of triage for security incidents and notifications from our security systems and our 3rd party SOC, NOC and EDR vendors.
• Monitor systems for irregular behavior and assist with the set up preventive measures.
• Educate and train staff on information system security best practices as applicable. Help end-users when they need to install or learn about new products and procedures.
• Work with external 3rd party security vendors, NOC, SOC, EDR to ensure proper procedures and alerting are in place.
• Ability to properly prioritize security work, incidents, and requests.
• Good working Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts along with access management and Active Directory / Azure Active Directory.
• Good understanding of vulnerability programs and patch management.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• An understanding of security best practices, fame works and how to implement them at a business-wide level.
• An understanding of IT / GRC programs, methodologies, and frameworks along with ITSM best practices.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise.
