POSITION SUMMARY
This position will execute the daily work activities and monitor the work performance of a small group of employees within their assigned area.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONIBIILITIES
- Coordinate day-to day workflow, training and troubleshooting in a multi-temperature environment; including temperatures at or below freezing.
- Using WMS or other systems / reports, track and / or review productivity to ensure goals, deadlines and outputs are met in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to associates (one on one or in a group setting) regarding performance and productivity.
- Conduct start-up meetings for the entire department, as needed.
- Assist in updating and documenting process changes and training plans.
- Impact retention positively by fostering respectful team environment through professional communication, motivation and timely problem resolution.
- Work on the floor in a production role during non-peak performing manual labor, as required.
- Adhere to all safety, security and SQF requirements.
- Perform other duties and work in other departments, as assigned.
- Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent requiredEXPERIENCE
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experienceAbility to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, management, and employees)Previous warehouse management system and SAP knowledge preferred.
