The City of Peoria is seeking to fill an Animal Control Officer position that will enforce animal control. This position will respond to customer complaints, patrol the City for stray animals, and issue citations. Other duties may include completing related tasks as assigned.

• Technical skills and practical knowledge of a technical field with use of judgment and decision-making abilities appropriate to the position.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, and persuasiveness.
• Skills in customer service.
