Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, guiding homebuyers through the mortgage process, and recommending the best mortgage products to meet their financial needs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and knowledgeable about the mortgage industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take live transfer, Prequalified leads that the branch buys and sources and get them paired with Real Estate Agents to build new relationships and business through transactions.
  • Work closely with clients to assess their financial needs and determine the best mortgage solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.
  • Stay current on mortgage products, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by educating clients on loan options, terms, and the application process.
  • Process mortgage applications and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Guide clients through the loan approval and closing process.
  • Meet and exceed sales and production goals.
  • Continuously follow up with clients and referral partners to maintain relationships and generate repeat business.

Education and Experience

  • NMLS License
  • Ability to maintain a knowledge of lending guidelines, investor programs, industry requirements, and industry changes.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
  • Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with co-workers and supervisor.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
  • Attention to detail and quality focused.
  • Sales experience.
