Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our client’s medical facility in Elmhurst, NY . This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title : Pharmacy Technician
Location : Elmhurst, NY 11373
Contract Length : 13 Weeks with possible ext.
Shift : 5 days per week, 7.5-hour shifts (variable), starting March 17, 2025. Training shifts from 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM or 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM. Post-training shifts may vary from 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM, and possibly 11 : 30 AM - 8 : 00 PM.
Job Description :
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, distributing medications, and maintaining drug inventory under direct supervision.
- Operate automated dispensing systems and troubleshoot as needed.
- Rotate assignments between satellites, tours, and shifts as required by departmental needs.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local pharmacy regulations.
