Position Summary : The Verge Therapy evening / weekend clinician position serves Verge clients seeking individuals, couples, and families seeking outpatient therapy. The clinician takes initiative and has autonomy in serving their caseload of clients with assessing need, creating treatment plans, supporting client goals and progress. This position is ideal for clinicians who are interested in seeing clients during evening hours (3 : 00 PM and later) and on weekends. The pay rate for this position is a fee differential of an additional $5 per billable hour from the standard rate that corresponds with your licensure. This position requires a clinician to bill half or more billable hours starting at 3 : 00 PM and / or anytime Saturday or Sunday per pay period.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Provide quality clinical care to a caseload of clients provided to you by Verge Therapy
  • Consistently meet Quarterly Expected Hours (QEH)
  • Perform initial diagnostic evaluation of client needs and develop customized treatment plans
  • Provide weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions using appropriate modality of treatment
  • Submit client progress notes on a timely basis using EMR system
  • Provide clients and families with the resources they need to reach treatment goals
  • Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other agencies, providers, and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services and continuity of care
  • Complete continuing education courses to maintain Massachusetts licensure requirements and stay up- to-date on the latest practices
  • Provide timely communication to clients
  • Assess client safety each session and complete safety planning or recommendations as determined by assessment
  • Adhere to safety procedures including immediate reporting or client safety concerns
  • Attend required meetings and supervisions

Education and Experience :

  • Master's degree or more advanced degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited program.
  • Prefer at least 1 year experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience using evidence-based therapeutic models
  • Experience using an electronic medical record system
  • Skills and Abilities :

  • Ability to provide behavioral health assessments, diagnose, develop and implement treatment plans
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in electronic charting and documentation

    Salary Description

    Fee For Service, Annual Earnings range 45k-60k
