About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong operational focus to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be instrumental in leading the finance, accounting, and supply chain functions, particularly as the company experiences commercial growth. This pivotal role involves serving as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive team, driving financial and operational strategy, and ensuring the integration of business and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include leading corporate financial planning, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the finance and operations team, developing operational frameworks for efficiency, and maintaining relationships with strategic supply chain partners. The CFO will also be responsible for strategic financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, and will play a critical role in fundraising and positioning the company for potential exit. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will have a minimum of 15 years' of senior financial leadership experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or related industries, with a preference for those with a background in orthopedics or sports medicine. The role requires the ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth, and entrepreneurial environment, with a proven track record of scaling operations and managing supply chain complexities. Experience in driving commercial growth, particularly with subscription models, and a strong background in financial planning, fundraising, and M&A processes are essential. The CFO will be expected to have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA, CFA, or advanced finance degree being preferred, and must be open to remote placements nationwide.
