Fitness Front Desk Associate

Colonial Country Club community seeks a Fitness Front Desk Associate. We are looking for a hardworking, detailed oriented teammate to come aboard.

Our principal business consists of a checking in members to the gym, helping with special events, cleanliness of facility, towel laundry, and fitness classes. Our customers are our residents of the community, and many of them are snowbirds looking for fun in the sun during their 'winter camp' months. Positions offer a daily meal and a positive, professional work environment. Bring your smile and your heart for service!

General Purpose :

Performs secretarial and administrative duties in association with and as directed by the Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Fitness Desk Attendant :

• Ensure all members and guests are properly greeted and admitted to the facility.
• Manages facility to prevent nonmembers from entering.
• Answers phones, provides membership information as requested, signs up new members.
• Maintains cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures.
• Maintains understanding of operating procedures for fitness equipment.
• Completes checklist for opening, closing, and daily procedures.
• Processes recreation reservations as needed.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
