Job description

Selectek is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for a direct hire role with one of our partnering companies near Kansas City, Missouri . This firm specializes in commercial, municipal, and higher education buildings, so candidates will need experience with these types of projects.

Employment Type : Direct Hire

Location : Kansas City, MO

Expected Pay Range : $90,000-$120,000 based on experience and certifications

Job Requirements :

3+ years of experience in the field
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
PE license active or in process
Proficiency with Revit
Expertise in structural analysis software like StaadPro or RAM

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties :

Conduct structural analysis and design for commercial and municipal projects

Develop detailed construction drawings and specifications

Ensure projects comply with relevant codes and standards

Coordinate with team members and project managers with progress updates

Create calculation packages as required

Perform site visits and inspections as needed
