Description
Ascentria is on a look out for an organized, innovative and strong decision maker to join our organization in the capacity of Corporate Controller. The Corporate Controller is responsible for the accuracy, integrity and overall control of the Agency’s financial and reporting systems for an operating budget of $140 million. The Controller maintains an accounting environment that ensures financial compliance with GAAP, applicable laws, regulatory authorities, governmental entities, contractual obligations and terms, and grant requirements. The position will provide a high degree of support and training to those under his / her supervision in order to ensure the production of timely, accurate and relevant financial data to those the Finance team serves.
The Controller will also lead a team, including responsibilities related to financial planning, forecasting, reporting, business modeling and revenue / expense analysis for Ascentria and its subsidiaries. This hands-on Controller role is tasked with overseeing and consolidating financial results, identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions that improve operating results based on in-depth analyses of the organization's cost structure and key business drivers. He or she plays a key role in assisting senior leadership with decisions that significantly impact the strategic direction of the organization. He / she must be adept at developing, synthesizing and presenting complex data, and providing timely, relevant and accurate metrics / analyses to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
