Carowinds is searching high and low for the creepiest scare actors this side of the grave to join the Carolinas' largest Halloween event! Show us your drop-dead talent and prowl our midways with your fellow undead. Our unique interview style offers plenty of opportunities for you to scare us out of our wits—if you've got it, Haunt it! Candidates must be energetic, dedicated, exercise good judgment and remain safety conscious at all times. You'll also :

• Scare without touching by using the element of surprise where applicable.
• Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand / body movements and strong vocalization where applicable.
• Develop gestures and movements unique to the character.
• Wear complete costume provided. Do not switch costume pieces (including masks) with other characters.

Ability to wear costumes with masks, and / or heavy make-up.

Ability to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.

Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
