Key Responsibilities as a CDL A Instructor :

Delivering CDL A Training : Provide hands-on instruction in Pre-Trip, Yard Skills, and Road Driving
Safety-Focused : Emphasize safe, professional driving practices in every session
Supporting Student Success : Help students prepare for the CDL exam
Local Schedule : Consistent hours with no overnight travel – be home daily

CDL A Instructor Requirements :

Louisiana CDL Class A license with 24+ months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience

Clean driving record, with ability to pass DOT physical and drug / alcohol tests

Basic computer skills for scheduling and tracking student progress

Strong communication skills and a passion for safety and teaching
