Position Details / Responsibilities

  • Shape the Narrative : Assist in content strategy and planning, and create compelling content for blogs, marketing materials, customer communications, website, and social media that elevate Power Design's brand reputation and inspire engagement
  • Champion Industry Leadership : Collaborate on the development and execution of impactful campaigns that position Power Design and our executive team as industry experts and trusted voices, leveraging creative storytelling and expert insights
  • Craft Relationship-Driven Outreach : Work in partnership with other departments and teams to create dynamic content for customer and vendor communications, supporting initiatives that strengthen relationships and highlight Power Design's unique value
  • Amplify Social Media Impact : Team up with the Social Media Specialist on social strategy development and execution, as well as social media advocacy campaigns, to ensure alignment around our company's voice and goals
  • Elevate Community Connections : Collaborate on corporate and community initiatives that highlight Power Design's impact, fostering deeper connections between the brand, our people, and the communities we serve

Here's What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or another related field is required
  • At least 3 years prior experience in a writing, public relations, content development, and / or communications role is required
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in AP Style.
  • Writing requirements are required. Campaign and writing samples will be requested.
  • Experience with platforms like HubSpot, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, Cision, Microsoft Office, Canva, etc., preferred
  • Ability to conduct long-range strategic planning for organizational effectiveness and proven success in executing strategic plans
  • Possess a keen sense of urgency, responsiveness, and professionalism in all tasks, assignments, and communication (written, verbal, and non-verbal)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects with changing priorities, including shifting tasks and quickly reprioritizing
  • Skilled at collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information to problem-solve and make high-level decisions
