General description :
The Foreman will be the lead over a crew and provide essential support to the superintendent. You will be responsible for assisting with scheduling and running a portion of the project.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with submitting timecards for field personnel.
- Layout and verify dimensions for panels and slabs.
- Organize job duties for the carpenters.
- Collaborate with the superintendent on daily job needs.
- Collaborate with the superintendent on materials and tools needed daily.
- Be able to work with tools while providing direction to the crew.
- Provides solutions should adjustments need to be made during construction
- Provide directions for the erection of tilt panels.
- Maintain accurate documentation of paperwork.
Requirements :
At least 1 year of experience as a Foreman.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks as needed.Knowledge of tilt up panels and the process (preferred)Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationAble to work weekends if needed.Able to provide basic hand tools for carpentry.OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain one.Working conditions :
Work outside in various weather conditions.Able to lift at least 50lbs.
