Corporate Parking Enforcement Officer Pay Rate : $15.00 per hourJob Type : Full-timeLocation : Houston, TexasShift & Schedule : VariesApplications will be accepted until the job is closed.What we're looking for : Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and other vehicles for parking violations.Issues citations for improper use of specifically designated parking areas, including crosswalks or sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, and related violations.Operates license plate reading technology through a touch screen interface.Supervises towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors.Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine maintenance such as charging EVs and inflating tires.Operates computer equipment, two-way radio, handheld devices, and technology.Completes data for citations including violation type, time, date, location of offense, vehicle license plate number, and / or vehicle identification number.Provides customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations, and parking policies.Issues citations and warnings for non-compliance using a handheld device.Exercises proper judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with people.Assists maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment and facility upkeep.Maintains cleanliness of vehicles before and after each shift and stocks supplies as needed.May perform cashier, flagger, or valet duties as required.May complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks as directed by management.Other special projects as assigned by location management.What's in it for you?We promote from within - park your career here!Free Parking!Flexible scheduling; paid holidays and wellness.Free and confidential employee assistance program (EAP) available 24 / 7.(FT Employees) Paid vacation and an extra day off on your birthday!(FT Employees) Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 8 supplemental insurances, including pet insurance!Must haves : At least 18 years old.High School diploma preferred.One year related experience preferred.Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Valid DMV driver’s license.Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with employees and customers.Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional manner.Must maintain a neat and clean appearance in adherence to company standards.Good to haves : Valet parking experience : 1 year+Customer service experience : 1 year+
