Title : Safety Coordinator

Location : Bartlett, IL

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Pay Rate : $80K-$90K

Job Summary :

We're seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to ensure a safe and compliant work environment at our food manufacturing facility. You'll play a key role in developing and implementing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and investigating incidents.

Job Duties :

Develop and implement safety programs (e.g., lockout / tagout, machine guarding, ladder safety).

Conduct safety inspections and audits.

Investigate accidents and near misses.

Train employees on safety policies and procedures.

Maintain safety records and prepare reports.

Promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications :

4-5+ years of safety experience in a food manufacturing environment (cooler environment preferred).

Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and OSHA standards.

Experience with lockout / tagout, machine guarding, and other critical safety areas.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
