Job descriptionExcel skills SAP experience is preferred Bachelors in accounting / finance or related field (required) and 2 years of Accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of experience in accounting or a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of experience in accounting Must be a U.S. Citizen Knowledge of general accounting such as accounting entries, reconciliations and analysis. Demonstration of effective communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions, high volume of activities and multiple demands and deadlines.
Talascend is currently seeking an Accounting Professional for a contract opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana
Remote Hybrid Schedule- 8am-5pm / Thursday & Friday in Office
SUMMARY :
The Accounting Professional position will involve interaction with various Accounting and Business departments and will include providing any business-related accounting items to various teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Complete tasks to provide accounting detailsdocuments for AP, AR, GL or cash items to the Defense finance teams / buyer as requested.
- Complete coordination efforts on data required by M&A group.
- Complete other ad hoc requirements such as completing reconciliations, reviewing journal entries etc. as laid out by management.
