Job description

Are you a compliance expert with a passion for ensuring ethical practices in healthcare? Join our team as a Senior Consultant – Compliance Programs , where you will play a critical role in implementing and monitoring compliance initiatives across the health system.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs to align with federal healthcare regulations, internal policies, and the Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards from OCR, OIG, DOJ, and CMS.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with leadership to report on compliance developments, including investigations and monitoring activities.
  • Oversee compliance policies, procedures, training programs, and enforcement of the Code of Conduct.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience : At least six (6) years in a healthcare administrative, financial, or compliance role, ideally with a large healthcare organization or academic medical center.
  • Skills : Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities; expertise in federal and state healthcare compliance regulations.
  • Certifications : Current certification in one of the following or ability to obtain within 18 months :
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)
  • Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC)
  • Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC)
  • Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO)
  • Other relevant healthcare compliance certifications
