Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced CAT Scan Technologists (CT Tech) for assignments in Boston, MA!

Position Details :

Contract Length : 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings : 5

Start Date : 3 / 3 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours / Shifts / Schedules : 36 (3×12's) / Days

Setting :

  • Large teaching hospital
  • Level I Trauma center

Position Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience
  • MA CT license
  • BLS (AHA), ARRT

    • TheCAT / CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographsof specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT / CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CAT / CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

    Minimum Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience as a CAT / CT Technologist preferred.
  • Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
  • A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
