Job Title : Epic Solution Architect / Developer

Location : Louisville, KY / Nashville, TN / Atlanta, GA(Onsite)

Important Notes :

Strong clinical Epic Focus

Exposure or Certifications to Epic modules (Tapestry, MyChart, Care Management, ASAP, Beaker, Willow...etc.) is required

API development is highly preferred

Focus is on design work and development

Wide range of healthcare experience is required

Role Purpose : The Solution Architect designs and implements highly complex information systems and networked software architectures, aligned to IT strategies, that support Healthcare business functions. They ensure all solution requirements are met within the design, such as availability and functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand corporate architectural guidelines and standards.
• Support growth in a cost-effective manner by coordinating technical and operational dependencies for each product / domain, with standardization as a fundamental principle and a culture of agile delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest technology, solutions, and industry trends to conceptualize functional solutions that address business needs, opportunities, and issues.
• Understand the high-level system architecture / portfolio that supports the business and the key process areas supported by the IT systems.
• Outline solution architecture descriptions across domains, functions, and industries to meet defined business needs.
• Develop end-to-end solution processes and prepare technical documents, including time and cost estimation and implementation requirements.
• Determine which potential applications / technology solutions would require changes to satisfy business needs.
• Engage appropriate architecture leaders to determine conformity and impacts to architecture standards for designs under review.
• Specialty Requirements :
• Must have prior experience solutioning, building, implementing, upgrading, enhancing EPIC EHR modules (Ambulatory, OpTime, Long Term Care, Tapestry, Prelude, Cadence, MyChart, Willow, Healthy Planet, etc.)
• Must have an EPIC Certification / s
• Requires minimum of four (4) years of experience in healthcare, product development, research, data science, reporting and analytics, or economics.
• Requires minimum three (3) years' experience working in or with a relevant EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or Clinical business application.
• Relevant industry certification preferred (examples : IIBA / TOGAF / AGILE)
• Requires demonstrable experience in independent problem solving and creative thinking with ability to effectively weigh business, industry, and organization knowledge leveraging independent communication and interaction skills
• Agile experience preferred
• SQL experience preferred, desire to learn required
• Experience collaborating across multiple cross-functional teams to define the best business solution
• Experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations to support senior leadership.
• Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at various levels of the organization, such as peers, internal / external stakeholders, business partners, senior level managers.
• Experience working with virtual team members.
• Experience with Epic API / FHIR integration
• Experience with architecting / designing solutions using Epic EHR preferred

Qualifications :

Experience as an architect, analyst, builder, and / or implementer in one or more of the following capabilities : Epic, Oncology, Ambulatory, Credentialing, Pharmacy, Senior Living, Voice Recognition, Patient Throughput, Care Management, Population Health, Home Health
