Description & Requirements The Vice President of Data Services will lead the strategic development and execution of cutting-edge data solutions that will drive the AI initiatives to enable transformative insights and drive organizational success.
This role encompasses overseeing data governance, analytics, business intelligence (BI), and working with the AI team to drive AI innovation, while integrating modern frameworks such as data fabric, data mesh, and federated learning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, exceptional leadership skills, and a vision for leveraging advanced technologies to create value across the organization. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and execute a modern data strategy leveraging data fabric, data mesh, and scalable frameworks for accessibility and flexibility. - Partner with AI / ML accelerator to implement solution to deliver insights, optimize operations, and drive data-informed decision-making. - Oversee federated learning adoption for secure, collaborative model training across distributed data sources. - Establish robust data governance frameworks to ensure compliance, data quality, and privacy in partnership with the CISO & CTO. - Drive enterprise BI and analytics platform deployment to enable real-time insights, reporting, and predictive analytics. - Foster a data-driven culture by engaging teams, enabling collaboration, and staying ahead of emerging data science technologies. Qualifications : - 15+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, AI / ML, or data platforms, with 5+ years in leadership roles. - Proven expertise in implementing data fabric or data mesh architectures in enterprise settings. - Experience with federated learning frameworks and secure distributed systems. - Strong knowledge of AI / ML algorithms, big data technologies, modern data architectures, and cloud platforms. - Extensive expertise in data governance, metadata management, and regulatory compliance. - Skilled leader with exceptional communication abilities to manage cross-functional teams and engage both technical and business stakeholders. - Experience with data and AI initiatives in large-scale enterprise environments - Familiarity with implementing dta product and domain-driven design into a data mesh framework. - Strong understanding of data privacy laws, data sharing policies, and ethical AI practices. - Proven ability to align data services and analytics with business objectives to deliver measurable outcomes. - Must be able to obtain a security clearance EEO Statement Active military service members, their spouses, and veteran candidates often embody the core competencies Maximus deems essential, and bring a resiliency and dependability that greatly enhances our workforce.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
