Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Contract Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing candidates, screening resumes, interviewing, and in developing and maintaining relationships with candidates and hiring managers for investment oriented positions. They will work with various departments and business lines in Global Investing and IT in various US offices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and identify active and passive candidates at various levels by utilizing multiple strategies including social media, Boolean searches, and job boards
  • Solicit and pursue referrals from business networks and internal sources
  • Continuously build and develop talent pipeline
  • Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates
  • Establish strong partnerships with Hiring Managers and develop a deep understanding of the various functions of CA
  • Prepare candidates and internal stakeholders for interviews and provide logistical information
  • Contribute to hiring decisions; facilitate candidate debriefs and other meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Extend employment offers and serve as candidates’ main contact throughout hiring process
  • Meet with Hiring Managers on a regular basis; proactively communicate status of each search on a regular basis
  • Contribute new and innovative ideas to CA recruiting
  • Manage recruiting process through Applicant Tracking System

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting and direct sourcing experience, with experience recruiting for investment and IT oriented positions strongly preferred
  • Internal corporate recruiting experience preferred, but not required
  • Proven recruiting success, with experience in Marketing, Investments, or Administrative Services a strong plus
  • Experience sourcing through social media
  • Effective project management skills
  • Ability to produce and analyze data to identify opportunities and drive decisions
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve while keeping excellent organization and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong initiative, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and an Applicant Tracking System; experience with Taleo and Workday a plus
  • Must be eligible to work without restriction in the United States
