Nurse Practitioners (NP) - Full-Time & PRN are needed to assist patients in nursing homes, post-acute care hospitals and home settings in the West Baton Rouge, LA area.

What do we do? Homedica provides primary care to patients who have limited mobility. We seek to become an extension of the physician’s office and hospital in order to provide a continuum of care tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

Essential daily duties include :

• Provide primary medical care for chronic and acute illnesses to nursing home patients
• Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases
• Interpret laboratory and test results
• Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies all with an emphasis on health maintenance and disease prevention
