The Aiken, SC plant produces approximately 1,000,000 miles of glass fiber reinforcement per day and operates on a 24 / 7 / 365 schedule. We are an agile, flexible, small-batch manufacturer able to meet the diverse technical requirements of our global client base. Our engineers and scientists have reinvented ultrafine glass fiber reinforcement manufacturing with proprietary, eco-friendly processes. The Job

Operates standard forming winding compliment to produce continuous product while auditing & notifying appropriate personnel of any quality & or equipment problems.

Do these responsibilities describe what you do best?

  • Perform proper scanning procedure(s) while operating winding machine compliment.
  • Inspects doff tubes and handles any occurrences (including but not limited to, breaks, call-downs, package build, etc.).
  • Audits and notifies appropriate personnel of any quality and / or equipment problems, writes and follows up
  • Operates computer utilizes various software programs to accomplish goals (including but not limited to process audits, maintenance requests, MES, etc.).
  • Procures packing material from designated surge area. Visually inspects and ensures proper weight and packs (including but not limited to shippable forming packages, wet chop, etc.)

    You are a good fit if…

    You are / have :

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment at least 1 year is a plus.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to stand for 12 hours a day.
  • Learn quickly under fast paced production environment.
  • Ability to work swing shift.
  • Must be able to pass Work Keys.
  • Great communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Ready to be a part of a successful team.
  • Eager to build a career in an industrial manufacturing business.
