The Role

Confiant is seeking a Sales Reporting Engineer to expand our growing team. The ideal candidate will be able to translate data into compelling narratives that enhance sales relevance and customer alignment. This role focuses on framing technical solutions, business insights, and customer education through data-driven storytelling. Reporting to the Sales Engineering Lead, you'll collaborate with our Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to establish customer-facing reporting structures, deliver value-driven presentations, and define business-focused data requirements. The ideal candidate excels at crystallizing customer results, identifying market alignment opportunities, and bridging internal expertise with customer needs, combining technical skills, analytical thinking, and a forensic approach with strong customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Product Education & Promotion : Deliver technical presentations, maintain product expertise, support technical documentation, and develop educational materials highlighting product value.
  • Customer Adoption & Value Analysis : Analyze feedback to assess product alignment with customer goals, design health scoring systems, and track adoption metrics to optimize value delivery.
  • Value Tracking & Reporting : Develop and maintain customer health metrics, create automated reporting solutions, and provide executive-level performance insights.
  • Solution Design & Implementation : Architect reporting solutions, collaborate on proof of concepts, implement feedback systems, and integrate telemetry tracking for customer outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong customer relationships, facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, and present insights effectively to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in technical customer-facing roles
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer feedback tools
  • Proven track record of successful customer engagement
  • Excellence in technical presentation and communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Nice To Have

  • Experience in SaaS Customer Success or Sales Engineering
  • Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools
  • Background in customer education or technical training
  • Understanding of data privacy and security requirements
  • Base Pay

    80,000 - $100,000 / year
