Job description

KVC Academy Kansas City

Location : Kansas City, MO

Pay :   $16.00-$19.50 per hour

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 30AM-3 : 30PM

Job Summary

  • Assist special education teachers in providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with their daily activities and educational tasks.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Monitor and document student progress and performance.

    • Education :

    60 college credit hours

    OR passed the ParaPro Assessment through Pearson or ETS

    OR completed the 20HR substitute certificate course through DESE

    Qualifications :
