Job Overview :

Rothmeyer TEC Inc (RTEC) is seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Foreman to lead our commercial wireless infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing excavation, rebar tying, concrete forming, and pouring while ensuring project safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This position requires regular travel throughout the Midwest, with hotel accommodations and per diem provided. Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and perform civil construction tasks, including excavation, rebar tying, concrete forming, and pouring.
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards and company policies.
  • Perform maintenance and repair work on existing tower infrastructure using hand or power tools.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain compliance with OSHA and company guidelines.
  • Travel throughout the Midwest to assess and maintain wireless infrastructure.
  • Work in outdoor environments under varied weather conditions.
  • Be available for evening, weekend, and rotational on-call assignments as needed.
  • Lead a team of technicians and laborers, ensuring project timelines are met efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for project progress and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain telecommunication and wireless network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Experience in civil construction with expertise in excavation, rebar tying, concrete forming, and pouring.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing crews in a wireless or commercial construction setting.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • Heavy Equipment Certifications preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights and withstand physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing to travel 75% of time if needed (gone a week at a time)
