As our new Leadership Development Specialist, you would be integral in continuing our reputation for curating world-class leadership development programs in Atlas Network Academy for our global partners. The ideal candidate will have experience and passion for developing leaders, an understanding of instructional design for adult learners, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting free-market solutions. Description :

The Leadership Development Specialist will be responsible for continuing the strategic development and continuous enhancement of the suite of leadership development programs for first time managers, department leaders, and executives. This person will collaborate on the continued refinement and delivery of our existing suite of programs, as well as, the design and development of new programs. Core elements of the role will include, but are not limited to; overseeing the curriculum development, program planning, participant management, facilitation, and delivery of all leadership development workshops and mentorship programs. When needed, this role will assist with the tracking and reporting of key metrics.

Core responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to :

  • Curriculum development and design
  • Program and participant management for leadership development workshops & mentorship programs
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders on the training team, others at the organization, and contractors on content design and delivery
  • Detailed Budgeting / Bill Reconciliation, managing a budget with restricted donor funding, including development of detailed budgets for assigned programs
  • Data management and metrics tracking from participant surveys
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, internal and external, to refine and optimize in-person training programs
  • In-person and online training facilitation, as planned

Job Requirements :

  • Strong facilitation and public speaking skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate across stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Under most conditions this position requires regular work hours. This role can be hybrid, or full time in the Atlas Network Office. Candidates should be comfortable working flexible hours, when needed
  • Able to work within a budget
  • Fluent in English
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitating in-person training experiences
  • 3+ years of program and project management experience
  • Experience with curriculum development and instructional design for adult learning
  • Budget management experience
  • Data measurement and analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of online tools : G-Suite, project management tools, Canva, etc.
  • Able to travel (domestic and international), as required (must have a valid Passport)
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of leadership principles, theories, and best practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical and results-oriented manner
  • Experience facilitating leadership development experiences
  • Experience managing mentorship programs
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Experience working with Monday.com
  • Fluency in a language other than English

  • Location :

    Equal consideration will be given to candidates that live outside of the DC Metro area for remote or hybrid in-office presence. We will not be considering applicants who are not authorized to work in the United States, or those who will be requiring authorization in the future.
