VMware Administrator

Akkodis is seeking for a VMWare Admin position with a client located in Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite)

Title : VMWare Admin

Location : Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite)

Pay Range : $70-73 / hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Responsibilities : -

Strong VMWare / vCenter experience and preferably experience with the rest of the vRealize / Aria suite. This includes the following functions :

Tracking down owners and tagging existing resources

Assistance in handing off operational tasks

Incident management until operational tasks are handed off

Help with Vrops

Clean up and / or hand off to monitoring

Reporting and optimization

Get reports from vrops / elsewhere to show money / license savings

Work with the team to document processes and standards

Implement security tasks

Troubleshooting / working with operations team on break / fix

Any automation / orchestration we need to work on

Upcoming migration assistance

Performance monitoring

Start working on right-sizing over-provisioned servers
