Job description

CLA has an immediate need for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal for a well-established law firm located in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate must have experience with residential real estate closings in a law firm from start to finish.

Sample Responsibilities :

All pre- and post-closing duties
Order and review title searches
Preparation and issuance of title commitments and final policies
Preparing closing documents / packages including HUD forms
Working with clients, lender, real estate agents and other law firm personnel
Prepare Disbursements

Qualifications :

2-3 years of experience with residential real estate closings in a law firm

Proficient in SoftPro and MS Office Suite

Must be detail-oriented and deadline-driven

Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment

Proficient in reading title work, preparing title commitments, and preparing closing documents

Associate's degree preferred, but not required
