The Warehouse Associate will be part of the Inventory Improvement Team maintaining all inbound equipment into SIGMAs warehouse. This role will be responsible for initiating the beginning steps of getting equipment to its final destination in the existing SIGMA inventory (for sale / rent.) Coordination and collaboration with other members of the Inventory Improvement Team are key to the overall success of this role.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Will work on a team to receive, clean, present, photograph, video, document and skid all inbound equipment within the SIGMA Warehouse
  • Effectively communicate with all members of the inventory improvement team
  • Responsible for the safe movement of equipment and associated paperwork from inbound trucks through the warehouse process of cataloging, cleaning, and photographing the equipment to its appropriate inventory warehouse location
  • Work closely with the warehouse team & logistics in all shipping and receiving tasks as necessary; loading and unloading trucks
  • Possess a strong work ethic, great attention to detail and have previous experience in a warehousing or manufacturing operation along with an outstanding attendance record
  • Prior forklift experience is strongly preferred
  • Required to use hand tools, read manufacturers manuals and drawings
  • Ability to use the computer to enter information and upload documents and photographs; can pick up systems knowledge easily
  • Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Physical / Travel Requirements :

  • High school diploma is required
  • Valid drivers license required and have the physical ability to frequently lift over 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate forklift
