Job Description
To assist patients and their families in making psychosocial adaptations specific to their diagnosis, while facilitating eligibility determination for social programs and financial resources. Apply optimal utilization of health care services and community resources in accordance with the principles of human growth and development. To provide social work services to MUSC patients and families utilizing a collaborative approach. The social worker will assess, plan, implement, deliver, monitor and evaluate the options and services required to address a patient's individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Additional Job Description
Education : Master's degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Credentials : MSW licensure by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners.
Candidate must get license within a year and licensure expenses are reimbursable.
