Job description

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Cooking and / or serving food in accordance with Six Flags standards and Health Department Standards
  • Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware, taking out the trash and sanitizing kitchen
  • Greeting each guest as they walk up to the location
  • Have a sense of urgency to take care of tasks as efficiently as possible
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) registers
  • Cleaning outdoor and indoor areas and upkeep general housekeeping duties
  • Keep assigned area organized and clean throughout shifts
  • Maintaining safe area and work environment
  • Enforcing all Six Flags policies and procedures
  • Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned
  • Communicating effectively with lead or supervisor
  • Assisting in other areas of the Food and Beverage Department

    • What You Will Need :

  • Must be at least 15 years old or older [depends on staffing needs]
  • Obtain and maintain Safe Food Handlers certification
  • Black slip- resistant shoes required
  • Able to communicate effectively, including reading, writing and speaking
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
  • Be available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing- Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work both inside and outdoors in varying climates
  • Must wear non-slip shoes while working

  • All other duties necessary to support the park as a whole.
