In this position you will have the opportunity to :
- Process a high volume of invoices and credits using both purchase orders and non-purchase orders.
- Work with vendors and customers in resolving account issues and discrepancies.
- Detailed oriented and capable of routinely performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with change management as it’s related to corporate initiatives and / or process efficiency implementations.
- Provide training plans and materials for end users and adapt training in conjunction with system changes and upgrades.
- Attend to other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Prepare statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports.
- Assist with data management of vendor master files.
- Assume tasks and responsibilities as other accounting clerks and / or supervisor as needed.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What do I need to be successful?
3- 5 years' accounting or clerical experience requiredOr any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.Expert knowledge of GAAP with preferred experience in SAP and Ariba.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and math skills.Strong organizational and problem solving skills.Proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.Expert knowledge of business concepts and applications in assigned business area.Proven ability to operate a computer and supporting software.Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferredand / or related experience equivalentWork Environment
