Camp Counselor

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Plan, participate and assist with camp activities (including in the park, inside the Community Center, and at the pool).

Work with other Counselors to create a positive, fun, and safe environment for all campers.

Maintain good communication with directors and other counselors.

Follow all regulations and safety guidelines outlined at the start of camp.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Age 16 or older
• Experience working with school age children preferred
• CPR certification is required (will be offered at no cost if hired)
• Must be able to stand for up to 3 hours and carry at least 25 lbs.
• Willing to work in an indoor and outdoor setting in a variety of weather conditions.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

Camp takes place primarily outdoors in Kirkwood Park, with occasional indoor activities.

Employment dates : June 2nd, 2025 through Aug 1st, 2025 (Monday through Friday)
