Job descriptionMinimum 2 years of relevant experience; 5+ years for a designer role. Associate’s Degree in Drafting Technology or equivalent experience with CAD proficiency. Extensive knowledge of Industrial Revit and AutoCAD. Experience with construction drawings for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures. Experience in industries like wood products, chemical, or metals manufacturing is advantageous. Previous construction industry experience is a plus. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with flexible schedule options, including half day Fridays. Initial expectation is to be in-office, with available telecommuting or hybrid option after adequate onboarding. Key Responsibilities :
- Draft construction drawings for industrial buildings, foundations, and equipment support structures.
- Prepare building permit packages, including title sheets, code studies, and egress plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members.
- May involve some mechanical or electrical drafting.
