Description :
The Warranty Administrator contributes to the success of the entire dealership by being responsible for all processes involving warranty claims. The ideal Warranty administrator is organized, detail-oriented and capable of working individually in a fast-paced environment to process warranty claims to the manufacturers.
Warranty Administrator Responsibilities :
- Processes warranty claims on a timely basis and with accuracy
- Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation
- Verifies criteria required by manufacturer
- Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
- Posts credits.
- Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
- Review all warranty receivable schedules to ensure payment within 30 days
- Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
- Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.
- Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
- Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the controller.
- Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Warranty Administrator Qualifications :
3+ years of automotive warrant admin experience at a dealership.Proficient computer skills (Including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.)Prior experience with CDK database systems is preferred.Process driven, motivated and have outstanding attention to detail.Ability to follow strict process and policy procedures and to work independently, as well as in a team.Communication Proficiency, listening, speaking, and writing effectively
