The Internal Sales Representative is positioned to interface between MPS’ sales teams and the internal functional teams to prioritize customer needs and to make sales successful. The position requires an interest in market dynamics, negotiation, manufacturing processes, and execution.

Fundamental required processes :
- Working closely with regional sales team, manage customer forecasts and interface to factory, Product Lines and sometimes production planning, Collect forecast (parts, volume, demands months…) by customer from sales personsLoad the forecast into systemCommunicate sales of TXR / JDM forecast across sales regions in AsiaAnalyze gaps (escalate to CM’s in Asia and PL if gaps cannot be closed)Monitor bookings against customer forecastPerform weekly backlog analysis, monitor backlogs required schedules and manufacturing committed schedulesUnderstand end customer demandsUnderstand inventory in channels and CM’s in AsiaProvide WIP analysisEscalate bookings when they are short of the forecast or over the forecastEscalate supply gapsEscalate possible idle / dead inventories due to over forecast or business change
- Manage NPI launch preparation – tracking schedule from new product release schedule, revisions, sampling, customer feedback, pilot run and mass production with sales and FAE.
- Provide monthly analysis and validation on sales opportunities and pricing from design-in and design win pending through CRM.
- Manage overall customer service function including customer delivery reporting, expedites, confirmations to compliment local and factory CSR functions;
- Administer RMA / customer material returns process to compliment regional teams and interface to QA and engineering teams
- Project management on additional operational initiatives on an as-needed basis
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of sales and operation related experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written)Self-motivated, driven, dedicated and willing to learn with a desire to succeedStrong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage your own timeExcellent problem-solving skillsSupply Chain knowledge and CRM experience are preferredBilingual (English and Mandarin) is preferredComputer skills in MSFT Office, including Excel, Power Point and Power BI preferredMPS offers a comprehensive benefits package. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $60,000 - $100,000.
