Compensations : College Credit available - This position is non-paid.

Status : Part-time seasonal

Start Date : April 2025 (flexible with academic schedule)

End Date : October 2025 (flexible with academic schedule)

Hours Expected to Work : Hours determined by day to day tasks and gameday vs non-gameday duties

Job Description :

The Sports Field Intern will assist with maintaining field conditions at Truist Stadium. The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, energetic, and can multitask multiple projects at one time. This internship focuses all the components of readying and maintaining all field elements for the Winston-Salem Dash.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist in maintaining the playing surface at Truist Stadium, including but not limited to turf areas, infield dirt, mound and home plate areas, bullpens, and warning track
• All cultural practices such as aeriying, verti-cutting, top dressing, edging, and fertility program
• Irrigation maintenance and repair
• Assist with field tarp and weather-related situations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Training :

All new hires in the Winston-Salem Grounds / Operations department will be thoroughly trained in all job duties and responsibilities. You will receive training and skills needed to be successful with the Winston-Salem Dash or any other professional team.
