Duration : On-going contract - 1099 - LLC Required

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Inspector & Expediter to support the final inspection and expediting of parts at a supplier’s facility. This role involves performing detailed incoming and final inspections, ensuring compliance with the Technical Data Package (TDP) and Manufacturing Data Package (MDP), and expediting parts to meet production schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical inspection, supplier quality management, and coordinating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure timely delivery.

What You’ll Do :

Report daily on-site at Supplier(s) facility to :

  • Monitor & Track Deliveries : Ensure suppliers meet delivery time-lines by pro-actively tracking production progress and addressing potential delays.
  • Expedite & Resolve Issues : Work closely with suppliers to identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and expedite critical parts as needed.
  • Report & Communicate Status : Provide regular reports on supplier performance, improvement actions, and overall delivery metrics.
  • Implement Improvement Strategies : Support process optimization efforts by analyzing supplier data, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective measures.
  • Ensure Quality Compliance : Collaborate with quality teams to ensure suppliers adhere to manufacturing standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders : Work cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, logistics, and production teams to improve supplier relationships and performance.

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • 7+ years of aerospace industry experience
  • 10+ years  quality  experience
  • JSTD-001 Certification, Preferred or previously held certification - provide certificate #
  • IPC610 / 620 Certification, Preferred or previously held certification - provide certificate #
  • Experience with ERP / MRP systems (preferred) and supplier performance tracking tools

    • Experience in electrical and mechanical inspections within a manufacturing or defense environment.

    Strong knowledge of Technical Data Packages (TDP) and Manufacturing Data Packages (MDP) .

    Ability to work safely in hazardous environments with strict adherence to safety procedures.

    Proficiency in source inspection efforts , including part measurement using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

    Experience conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) and verifying conformance to customer requirements.

    Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications .

    Strong ability to analyze and manage production flow

    Confident communicator who can challenge suppliers when necessary

    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power-Point  (Must have your own laptop)

    Experience in manufacturing logistics & quality control (preferred)
