About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering organization and drive the technical vision of Constanellis Aerospace. As a key member of the executive team, the VP of Engineering will oversee all engineering efforts, ensuring the successful design, development, and deployment of advanced aerospace systems. Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership :
• Define and implement the companys engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the development of innovative aerospace systems and defense technologies.
• Team Development :
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Program Oversight :
• Ensure engineering programs meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Provide technical direction for all projects, resolving complex engineering challenges.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration :
• Collaborate with the executive team to align engineering goals with broader company objectives.
• Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
• Innovation and Technology Development :
• Drive research and development initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance engineering efficiency.
• Compliance and Risk Management :
• Ensure adherence to all aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field (Masters or Ph.D. preferred). 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably in aerospace or defense. Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex engineering programs. Deep technical expertise in aerospace systems, including spacecraft, propulsion, avionics, or related domains. Strong understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
