Alphanumeric is hiring a PROCUREMENT MANAGER to work in the Upper Providence, PA area with our client of 20 years committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.

The Global Category Manager for Tech Procurement is accountable for all sourcing and contract management across their assigned category(ies). This will include :

Conducting sourcing events within the categories
Contracting for master / service / product agreements within the categories
Management of supplier relationships that fall outside of the enterprise SRM structure for these categories
Effective negotiation with Tech Suppliers
Management of internal stakeholders
Ensuring appropriate BI and Analytics is maintained for the Tech Procurement Category

This role will primarily support the R&D Tech Global Category Lead, primarily buying Software and Tech Services.Basic Qualifications :

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

3 - 5 years of procurement experience

2+ years experience working with global providers of, software, and associated IT services

Preferred Qualifications :

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :

Master's degree in Business, Technology, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management

Pharmaceutical industry experience

Experience negotiating data licenses and subscriptions
