Job TitleGraduate Assistant (Athletic Marketing)
Nature of Work
Graduate Assistants are hired at Chadron State College to assist in meeting the vision and goals established for CSC. Strategic deployment of graduate assistant positions is essential to ensure that limited resources are utilized in a manner consistent with the philosophy of CSC. Graduate assistants provide experiential learning in select areas and to assist the individual in a successful transition to future educational and professional opportunities.
Examples of Work Performed
Support athletics promotional efforts for sports including student promotions, game day promotions, graphic and video design and working with the Sports Information Director.Increase student engagement through CSC athletic events.Organize and implement game promotions during athletic events, including half time presentations and awards.Assist the Sports Information Director during home contests.Support video and graphic designs for athletic publications and productions, including video boards, flyers, and posters.Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Completed Bachelor's degreeConditionally accepted or accepted application to the CSC graduate programAbility to work on the Chadron State College main campus
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of marketing and promotional efforts for sportsFamiliarity with Chadron State College
